Community is vital to the Christian journey. By God’s design, we live in fellowship with others as an overflow of the relationship we have with Him through His Son, Jesus. Authentic Spirit-led community nurtures faith, provides support, and fosters a shared commitment to knowing Jesus and making Him known.
Our Call to Community
Watchman Nee explains the value of community this way. “Fellowship means among other things that we are ready to receive of Christ from others. Other believers minister Christ to me, and I am ready to receive.” This is just one of the gifts we receive by doing life together.
Our love to God is measured by our everyday fellowship with others and the love it displays.
